Synergism of Neem and Karanja Oils against Colorado Potato Beetle Larvae in Field Conditions

The increasing scarcity of active substances approved for use in plant protection is reflected the growing effort to find suitable alternatives. Products based on oils could provide a promising environmentally friendly solution. In previous research laboratory conditions, synergistic effect neem and karanja Leptinotarsa decemlineata (CPB) larvae was observed. aim this current study verify whether would also be observed field conditions. used included azadirachtin A (NeemAzal® T/S); both reduced dose 10.6 g/ha normal 26.5 (Neem1, Neem2), Pongamia pinnata oil (Rock Effect New–REN); 1987.6 g/ha, mixture doses (MIX). protective expressed by visual estimation damaged leaf area potato plant. MIX variant always among least variants throughout experiments, while control most variant. at site I 2021 when more than 10 times less control; other cases, it around 3 damaged. Treatment with provided comparable NeemAzal® T/S full dose. This can therefore expand portfolio preparations against CPB production.
